Natural Intelligence is a 2-day immersive series with Andrew Misle and Kelly day, exploring the intelligence of the body, breath, and mind through the lens of the gunas—tamas, rajas, and sattva.
In a time where artificial systems increasingly shape how we think and perceive, this series returns to something more fundamental: the intelligence already within us.
Each session blends movement, breathwork, and direct observation to explore the gunas not as theory, but as lived experience.
Across two days, we approach the system through different entry points.
Day one works through the body—using stability and stillness to settle the system.
Day two works through breath and movement—using activation to clear and open it.
Tamas, when balanced, grounds and stabilizes; when excessive, it obscures.
Rajas, when balanced, energizes and clarifies; when excessive, it agitates.
Though the approaches differ, both reveal the same underlying principle:
sattva is not something we create, but something that becomes apparent as interference quiets.
Rather than overriding the system, we learn to read it, work with it, and refine our relationship to it—developing a more direct, grounded awareness.
Natural Intelligence isn’t something you build.
It’s something you uncover.
Day 1 — Natural Intelligence: The Body as a Field of Observation
Tamas → Sattva
Theme: Stability, structure, and the quieting of the system
Saturday May 16:
9:00am – 11:00am (2hrs | Andrew)
7:00pm – 8:30pm (90 min | Kelly)
Tamas is often misunderstood as heaviness or resistance—but it is what gives the body structure, weight, and grounding.
When balanced, it stabilizes and supports. When excessive, it obscures and dulls perception.
In this session, we work through the body to settle the system.
Through slower movement, longer holds, and sustained attention, the body becomes a field of observation. Sensation begins to organize. Effort softens. What once felt dense begins to clear.
As the system down-regulates, attention stabilizes.
Meditation doesn’t need to be forced—it begins to emerge.
Clarity, or sattva, is not something we create.
It is revealed as the system settles.
Day 2 — Natural Intelligence: Breath, Movement, and the Emergence of Clarity
Rajas → Sattva
Theme: Activation, circulation, and the clearing of the system
Sunday May 17:
9:00am – 11:00am (2hrs | Andrew)
1:00pm – 2:30pm (90 min | Kelly)
Rajas is the force of movement, change, and activation.
When balanced, it energizes and clarifies. When excessive, it agitates and disperses attention.
In this session, we work through breath and movement to clear the system.
Through rhythmic sequencing and intentional breathwork, energy begins to move more freely. The system becomes dynamic, responsive, alive. Rather than suppressing activity, we allow it to complete itself.
As movement resolves, effort drops away.
The system settles on its own.
Clarity, or sattva, is not achieved through control,
but revealed as activity clears.
Meditation arises naturally from this resolution.
